On-premise

Runs on your sites. Answers to your hub.

QVision lives entirely inside your network. Edge boxes on every site watch and record, one hub on your servers runs the rules and the platform, and nothing depends on the internet.

  • No vendor cloudNothing calls out to the internet.
  • Our Edge ProtocolEvery box connected to your hub.
  • Works through outagesSites keep detecting and recording.
  • Air-gapped readyThe same setup, with no internet at all.
How it fits together

Distributed at the edge. Managed from one hub.

Every site runs its own edge boxes, every box reports to one hub on your servers, and none of it depends on the internet.

All four edge boxes connected to the hub.
  1. 1

    Edge boxes on every site

Each box runs the AI on its cameras and records continuously, right on site. More cameras, more boxes.

  2. 2

    Edge Protocol

Boxes connect and communicate with our Edge Protocol.

  3. 3

    One hub for the fleet

Users, zones, rules, incidents and analytics for every site, on your own server. The hub runs the rules and drives relays, SMS, email and webhooks.

  4. 4

    Resilient by design

If a site loses its link, its boxes keep detecting and recording from their saved settings. Try it on the diagram.

  5. 5

    No vendor cloud

Nothing calls out to the internet, and air-gapped networks are supported.

Deployment

All-in-one

One machine runs the edge and the hub. Right for a single site.

Distributed

Edge boxes on every site, and one hub on a QVision server or your own.

Air-gapped

Either setup, on a network with no internet at all.

Edge Protocol

Every box, connected to your hub.

Boxes connect and communicate with our Edge Protocol, from the plant next door to the site at the end of a long, unreliable link.

  • EncryptedEvery link between a box and the hub is encrypted.
  • ResilientA lost link doesn't stop a site. Boxes keep working and catch up when it's back.
  • ManagedEach box's status, cameras and settings, from the hub.
Deployment

Set up the way your sites are.

The same QVision, air-gapped by design, in the shape that fits your organisation.

1The setup

All-in-one

For a single site

One machine runs everything: the AI, the recordings, the rules and the platform.

Distributed

For several sites

Edge boxes on every site watch and record, and one hub manages them all. Add a site by adding boxes.

2Where the hub runs

On a QVision server

We supply the hub server, ready to run in your data center or at headquarters.

On your own server

Your IT team installs the hub on a server you already run, under your own policies.

In an all-in-one setup, the hub runs on the same machine.

Air-gapped by design

Every setup runs on a network with no internet at all. Nothing in QVision depends on it.

Security and privacy

Your video stays yours.

  • Video stays on site

Recordings live on the edge boxes, on your premises.

  • Encrypted links

Our Edge Protocol encrypts every link between boxes and hub.

  • Access by zone and SSO

Single sign-on, roles, and zone permissions for every user.

  • Full audit trail

Every change, with who made it and when.

  • Faces under control

Matched on site, enrolled by admins, switched on zone by zone.

  • No vendor cloud

Nothing calls out to the internet, and air-gapped networks are supported.

Every box, online at a glance.

Every box, online at a glance.

The hub lists every edge box with its status, when it was last seen and its settings, for every site.

Edge boxes and their status in QVision
How a rollout works

Start with one site. Scale to all of them.

No new cameras and no cloud account. Each new site joins the same hub.

  1. 01

    Discovery and demo

We show QVision on footage close to your sites and map the risks you want covered.

  2. 02

    Pilot on one site

An edge box on your network, your existing cameras, the zones and rules that matter.

  3. 03

    Review with your teams

HSE, security and operations look at the incidents, the alerts and the numbers.

  4. 04

    Roll out site by site

More boxes, more sites, one hub, with the same rules and the same dashboards.

What each site needs
  • IP cameras that stream over RTSP
  • A network path from the cameras to the box
  • A server for the hub, or one box on a single site

Questions

Does QVision need internet access?

No. Everything runs on your network, and air-gapped sites are supported.

Where does the hub run?

On a QVision server we supply, or on your own server, in your data center or at headquarters. On a single site, one machine runs both the edge and the hub.

What happens if a site loses its link to the hub?

Its edge boxes keep detecting and recording from their saved settings. Rules and alerts flow again as soon as the link is back.

How many cameras can one box handle?

It depends on the cameras and the detections they run. We size the boxes for each site during discovery.

Do we need new cameras?

No. QVision works with the standard IP cameras most sites already have.
